Math Homework will be assigned Monday - Thursday. It should take between 10-20 minutes depending on your child's skill level, and how much they paid attention in class. Every homework assignment is exactly the same format as the Problem Set we will have completed in class, just with different numbers. Students are allowed to bring home their classwork so they have examples for every problem on their homework assignment.
If you need help on a math homework assignment, you can also get help online. Click on the link below. Look in the upper right hand corner of the assignment and you will see the lesson we are working on, for example, "Lesson 3 Homework 4.1" This means we are working on Lesson 3 of the 4th Grade Module #1.
On the website, go to 4th Grade. Scroll down to select the Module we are currently working on in class. Then, scroll down to the lessons. You can click on the Homework or Video link to help with the assignment. The video will show you how to solve the first problem on the front and back of the homework assignment.
If your child is unable to complete any part of the assignment due to misunderstanding or confusion, please write me a quick note and I will be sure to go over it with them the next day.
